I have wanted to tell my story for so long now, but I was holding on to hope that one day my mom and I would have a normal-enough relationship that I would simply forgive her for all the things she's done. I can see now that that's never going to happen, she will continue to hurt me and try destroying everything good in my life, for as long as she is in my life. So, it's time to say goodbye - mother, I bid you ado'.

To understand my story, is to start where it starts. And I suppose this one starts in 1982, in Bensalem Pennsylvania, at Danny's Getty. Yep, the gas station. That's where I lived when I was born. Danny was my great uncle, and my dad worked for him, so we lived in the upstairs apartment. I was only 2 in 1982, but I have memories from when we lived there. Well, one memory that I know for sure is my own memory. My mom and dad are fighting and my mom starts crying. I yell at my dad, he leaves (not because of me), my mom is crying and I go up to her and say, "don't cry mommy, it'll be okay." She calls Linda, and they talk about me yelling at my dad, my mom is surprised by my reaction.

I know I fell down a full flight of stairs while in my walker. The kitchen was downstairs, next to the garage, everything else was upstairs. My mom was down in the kitchen, probably making my spaghetti oh's at the stove, and I was up in the living room in my walker on wheels and I rolled myself on down to the kitchen.
